Dr Tran Nguyen

Dr Tran Nguyen graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry/Masters of Dentistry degree from La Trobe University in 2019. She developed a passion for helping anxious patients overcome their fears after treating a large number of patients from different backgrounds across rural areas in Victoria. 

She grew up in Burwood East and during her university years studying to be a dentist, she worked with the Dentist@330 team as a nurse and receptionist. She is passionate about treating patients in the eastern suburb regions and providing caring and tailored treatments to help patients feel fresh, clean and confident to smile.

Dr Tran enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in oral surgery including wisdom teeth extractions and implants, having completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry with the Implant Institute in partnership with Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology in 2024.   

Her passion also includes restorative dentistry, including fillings and crowns.

Dr Tran is a member of the Australian Dental Association and a recipient of the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch Prize in 2017. She is committed to continuing professional development to keep her knowledge and skills up-to-date. Dr Tran is fluent in Vietnamese in addition to her native English.

In her spare time, Dr Tran enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis, travelling, and spending time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys watching AFL and an enthusiastic fan of the Hawthorn Football Club.
