Dr Tran Nguyen

Dr Tran Nguyen graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry/Masters of Dentistry degree from La Trobe University. She grew up in Burwood East and during her university years studying to be a dentist, she worked with the Dentist@330 team as a nurse and receptionist. She is passionate about treating patients in the eastern suburb regions and providing caring and tailored treatments to help patients feel fresh, clean and confident to smile.

Dr Tran has had rural placements including Mildura, Ballarat and Bendigo, exposing her to patients from a variety of ages, backgrounds and cultures. Furthermore, Dr Tran is very passionate about educating and connecting with children and adults alike, alleviating anxieties and customising treatments to best suit patients’ needs.

A member of the Australian Dental Association and a recipient of the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch Third Year Prize in 2017, Dr Tran has a special interest in preventive and restorative dentistry, as well as oral surgery. She is committed to continuing professional development to keep her knowledge and skills as up-to-date as possible and is fluent in Vietnamese in addition to her native English. In her spare time, Dr Tran enjoys going to the gym, travelling, spending time with her family, partner and friends, and is an avid movie fan. She enjoys watching AFL and tennis and is an enthusiastic fan of the Hawthorn Football Club.
